Fascinated by the natural rhythms of morning and night, I explored the contrasting energies of the sun and moon. The sun represents activity, vitality and growth, while the moon symbolises rest, healing and renewal. Although opposing, both forces are essential to balance and sustain life. Leafy forms in the background reinforce the connection to nature and regeneration. I used soothing layers of acrylic colour throughout, even for the sun, to create a calming experience for the viewer.
